FUNDING

Dear Friends;
Our team is reaching out to the cross-country ski community, in hopes of securing funds necessary to support athlete development. Donations will help off-set costs associated with training camps and travelling to races.
Provincial team athletes are dedicated to training year-round and competing at pan-Canadian races. This year's racing itinerary includes the Candy Cane Cup, hosted by Nakkertok Nordic in Cantley, Quebec. The team will also be competing at the Eastern Canadian Championships and the Maritime Cup being held in Quebec and New Brunswick, respectively. Our calendar is being finalized and always includes training camps.
Athletes thrive on the challenges provided by competitive cross-country skiing... while experiencing a tremendous sense of adventure. Historically, the provincial team develops a strong sense of community where members, volunteers, and friends of the team become like family. A long-standing tradition worth upholding.
Please consider contributing to the development of our province's young athletes, ensuring the provincial cross-country team family carries on to the next generation.
Sincerely,
Nova Scotia Cross-Country Ski Team

NOTE OF APPRECIATION
_____________________________________________________
Our team stands today as a result of all the historical builders and supporters who set the foundation for cross-country skiing in Nova Scotia. Thank-you to alumni who continue to lead this charge, along with the donors who provide the necessary financial support. The provincial team experience impacts the lives of many young athletes, as they work towards mastering the technical aspects of competitive cross-country skiing, and learn numerous life lessons along the way.
To ALL of our supporters, we are grateful.
