Loving Nancy

Dear Friends of Family of Nancy,
Dawn has been the primary caretaker for her mom for most of last year. This fund is to help to offset the loss of income she has had in caring for her mother the last several months and covering bills for her parents.
If you know Dawn's heart, she is the most caring friend/daughter/mother you can imagine. Nancy has been her rock, hope, prayer partner, and best friend. Dawn has taken her mother to appointments, and been by her side throughout this whole process. the moment of diagnosis of terminal cancer during the summer of 2017, Dawn's grief in this process has been immeasurable.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dawn since 2014, and have cared for Henry on weekends when Dawn was working. It is such a blessing that God has been able to use me during this time to provide Henry with a trusted caregiver, so Dawn could focus her limited resources on her mother. When I picked up Henry from his visitation with his dad on Christmas Day, the first thing he asked me was "is Nana in Heaven yet?" I told him Nana wasn't in Heaven yet, and that you will get to see her soon. He was so happy, and the picture I have shared here is of their hugs and meeting on Christmas Day.
I, as well as you, have stood by Dawn in this tough time. I have held Dawn through many tears and tried to comfort her. Nancy has opened her home to Dawn and cared and provided for Henry. Henry loves Nana like a second mother. I cannot even begin to fathom the loss both Dawn and Henry will feel, along with Dawn's father.
Dawn would never ask for assistance, but I have convinced her to think of her and Henry's future.
Please consider helping Dawn during these difficult days. I want Dawn and her family to be able to concentrate on healing.
If donating to GoFundMe sounds scary, please consider donating directly to Dawn by check. You can send them to her home address in Dawn's name, or include them in you condolence letters to the family.
In closing, I will attach Nancy's dictated letter to her friends and family on December 26th.

To my dearest friends, family, and loved ones,
Words are so inadequate to express the feelings in my heart. I am so very thankful for each of you. It's been my joy to know some priceless friendships throughout my lifetime that have enriched my life all the way along.
To be able to have the blessing of friendship has filled my heart with joy and I can only say "thank you" for GIVING me the privilege of knowing you. I pray that each of you will know the joy of that friendship and love. I pray that each of you will feel as I have, that God has sustained me through his Grace having been carried by His wings of love.
From the smallest acts of kindness to the greatest, God knew just when I needed it and everything worked together for good in God's timing.
Thank you for allowing God to use you in my life. I look forward to the day we are all united in heaven when we will never be separated. The beginning of a new journey...whatever that looks like will begin.
God has so many surprises ahead. Never be afraid to say "I love you" too much. Please Never miss an opportunity. Keep resting in Him. HE IS FAITHFUL!
With all my love and prayers,
Nancy
