We're Adopting!

If you asked us what our year looked like, we probably would have told you about our desire and crazy plan to run across the state of Colorado this summer.
If you would have asked us our plan for having a family, we would have told you that we are trusting God in his timing.
Well... our plans have radically changed. We were approached by a local mom four weeks ago and asked if we would prayerfully consider adopting her little girl. WOW... in our wildest dreams, we never imagined we would have 8 weeks to prepare for a baby. Are we ready?!? No. But who ever is really ready to be parents.
We began to seek the Lord together in prayer. He showed us that this precious little girl was to be ours. Cadence Elizabeth is our baby girls name. We are getting ready and expect to bring her home from the hospital after she is born.
Will you prayerfully consider being a part of this radical journey the Lord is leading us to? We are pursuing a private open adoption, which helps to keep the costs down. But funding an adoption is still quite expensive.
A gift of any size is grately appreciated.
The total cost of the adoption is as follows:
$2500 in attorney fees
$2800 in home study fees
