For Joshua Van Nguyen Jr & Duke
Donation protected
This go fund me page is for baby Joshua Van Nguyen Jr, doggie Duke Van Nguyen and their lovely parents.
Baby JJ entered this world on Sunday May 31st, 2015 at 5:57 am. He was 7 lb 6 oz and 21 inches long. His beautiful mother, Melissa, had an all-natural birth without an epidural (Bless Her!).
Unfortunately, almost immediately, JJ had to be taken to the NICU for an infection. He was diagnosed with Meconium Aspiration Syndrome, MAS, which means he passed the meconium (a baby's first poop) in the womb and swallowed some of it. He has had quite a few procedures and now has been transferred to Neumors/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. It is possible that he could have to have a serious lung and heart bypass surgery. Every day is different and we are all hopeful that he will continue to improve and not need surgery.
Doggie Dukie entered this world in March 6, 2010. Just a few short months later, Duke join his parents in Shippensburg, PA where Daddy Josh was graduating with his Bachelor's degree and Mommy Melissa was finishing her junior year of college. Duke was always full of energy and shedding all over. But he was cuddly to everyone he met. Sadly, Duke became sick and was never given the opportunity to meet his little brother, JJ. Duke passed away from cancer on June 3, 2015.
We, Melissa and Josh's friends and family, have set up this page hoping
to help them with the overwhelming medical bills from both JJ and Duke. During this emotional and stressful time, we are trying to do everything we can to help. Every donation can ease their burden, no matter how big or small.
Please continue to keep JJ and his parents in your thoughts and prayers. And also please help us in keeping Duke's memory alive.
