Funeral expenses for Nick Mayes

Twenty-two years ago, we buried our newborn daughter. Four weeks ago today, our son Nick died in his sleep without a known cause. We buried Nick on December 1st next to his sister. No parent should have to bury a child let alone two children.

We have no way to pay for Nick's funeral expenses. We are asking for your help so we do not lose our home. We only have one income, and we still have a young child at home who needs the security of the only home he has ever known.

All excess funds...every penny...will be donated in Nick's memory to the two animal rescue groups where Nick volunteered so lovingly...Road Trip Home and the Hart County Humane Society.
