Money For Oceanside NY Fire Victims

Hello, 

My name is Sean "Sully" Roth.  I'm from Oceanside NY and have  lived here my entire life.  When I heard about the fires that destroyed over 50 peoples apartments it really hit home.  I was involved In  a huge  loss during hurricane Sandy, and I could not even imagine the devastation a house fire can bring on a family.  With that,  I knew something needed to be done. When hurricane Sandy hit our home, the amount of support was unreal. With that being said, I feel like we need to turn around and do the same for the people and businesses involved in this fire. 

Short story, Last night at around 5 am, a fire burned down a large strip of businesses. Above those businesses were peoples homes. These people lost everything and were left with just the clothes on their backs. I could give you every sob story in the book , but the facts are real. These people need help, and we, as a community can make that happen . 

I plan on making a donation of everything  we raise to the Oceanside Community Service. They will be recieved by the president of OCS, Bob Transom, and the organization will distribute the funds  in hopes that these family's can get back to  normal life.  Although I have no relation whatsoever to these people,  I cannot imagine what it is like to have to deal with such a complete loss.   Any bit we raise can make a HUGE difference.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and i hope with this money these familys can get some new clothes ,food , or whatever necessities they need to help get them back on their feet.
