One Foot In Front Of The Other

In November 2023 I lost my little sister to suicide. I have decided to run a marathon on June 1st to raise awareness of and funds for 988 Lifeline, a free, 24/7 resource for anyone experiencing a mental crisis. Following my current training plan, I aim to run 350 miles by June 1st, ending with the 26 miles of the marathon itself. I’m asking for donations based on the miles I complete. While this is obviously a serious topic, the fundraising and runs are meant to be fun. For anyone in LA I’ll be ending most my weekend runs at the Venice Whaler with a beer or two - all are welcome to join for the run, the beers, or both.
