Owens Family Sh*t-Storm Relief Fund

The Saint Augustine, FL area was hit hard by Hurricane Matthew. Most of the city was underwater and many evacuated residents have returned to homes with extensive damage and no electricity. Two of those residents are Corbett and Kayla Owens. 


The married couple returned home on their 1-year wedding anniversary to find their apartment like this:

During the storm their ceiling collapsed and dumped moldy insulation all over their belongings. The debris is toxic for Kayla who is six months pregnant - making their home uninhabitable.

(Matthew needs to learn how to wipe.) 

The Owens would never ask for help, but really need our financial support while they fight with landlords and insurance companies to break their lease, find a new home, and replace their possessions and everyday necessities. 

Plus, there's sh*t everywhere.

(Actually, that purse was already like that.) 

I set the goal amount to cover their deposit and first/last month's rent at a new place while they try to recoup money tied up in their current lease.

(Do you even lift, bro?) 

They are currently couch-surfing, so please give what you can to help two kind and wonderful people make a fresh start as they quickly prepare to welcome their baby girl into the world.

(Hopefully, she won't sh*t all over their new place.)
