Oxley Bowls Club Flood Relief Fundraiser 2022

As you are all aware that Club Oxley was hit hard during the recent Floods.

There was 2-3 feet water in the club and storage where we kept all our equipments. After 2011 floods when the water was roof high we were considered as the Flood zone property and the insurance premium was too highly for us, being a non profit community club. Just like many in our area we didn’t have Flood insurance.

We need to replace all our indoor electrical equipment, all our machinery in the storage, all our tables and chairs, in the hall we have to replace the stage and most of the sound system.

The bowlers green needs maintenance, There are doors which have to be replaced, our kitchen draws need to be replaced. We have had to throw all our food from all our fridge. We have thrown away all damaged cupboards, rugs, sofas and many other damaged things.

Yes we will apply for govt grants but it will not be enough to fix all our cost. 

All money raise goes into the Club Oxley Flood Recovery Account.
