Paisley's EX-FIX REMOVAL!!!!

Thank you for stopping by to read Paisley's page.  Paisley is 5 and has a degenerative hip disease called Perthes.  She had surgery on May 27th 2014 to get the external fixator put in her right leg to help fix the problem.  She has had to have this thing on for 4 months. There are 3 pins going through her pelvis and 3 through her femur.  
    We are coming up on her scheduled Ex-fix removal date!  Unfortunately we have to be in Baltimore for a week and a half for this surgery and recovery.  My job (insurance) only allowed her to have 30 days of PT a year and we have long used those.  She will need extensive physical therapy after her surgery for hip movement and to try to get her knee bending again.
    This has been one long roller coaster of a ride and Paisley always has a sweet attitude.   Please pray for us and Paisley that her bones grow in the way that helps her recover fully and for our safe travels and stay.   I have had to miss work here and there for her because of pin infections, pain and vomiting.  My paid time off hours are dwindling fast.  These funds will be used to pay for lodging and PT bills.  If you are able to help in any way I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.  Thank you and God bless.
