Emergency Relief for Palestinian Families

My name is Zaheera Soomar, a South African living in Canada.

I have always been pro Palestinian as a South African and have grown up fighting for their freedom. I am also a muslim and justice is a cornerstone of our religion.

Since the most recent attacks started in 2023, I have been raising money to support Palestinian families that have been displaced to try and bring relief and help them rebuild.

I work with trusted organisations on the ground to deliver the work. And ensure that 100% of the funds are passed on.

All funds are zakaat eligible.

I have worked in the social impact and international development space for over 10 years in over 20 countries. This is my expertise. And I do strong due diligence to make sure the organisations I work with, are ethical and that the money is spent to achieve the maximum outcome and impact.
