The Story:
Our family, Peter and Szilvia + 9 kids. For several years now, our stable accommodation has not been sorted. We had to move 4 times during the last 4 years within Northampton, due to the landlords selling the houses we rented. With the very high rental costs we can not carry on like this - our kids basically don't understand what home is... Besides that rent is more and more difficult, we have 5 months of unsuccessful house-hunting behind us - with the immediate view of temporary shelters. (We also need to stay in Northampton to be able to run our family cafe, which is our livelihood).
Now we have found a dwelling, which is a holiday lodge rather than a house, but certainly more affordable than a house in Northampton. We have no chance to get a mortgage, but this lodge bought the concept/possibility of buying in reach to us. The lodge costs £120,000. It has enough space for all of us to sleep. And it is really nice :-) Good, clean natural area, which is great for the kids. Sooooo...........
Having enough good-willing, open-hearted and "open-walleted" friends means we could finally have a place to live:
I guess it is clear that we are asking for genuine help - not business offers. So if it is a loan rather than a gift giving you can offer, it needs to be long term and very low interest (if any).
