Medical Bills for Parker DeFord

The DeFord family is known around Cody for Nicole’s incredible face-painting skills, Will’s mastery of skiing, and the three kids’ amazing smiles and can-do attitudes. The DeFord family serves and inspires their local community in a multitude of ways, and their generosity has impacted many throughout the Big Horn Basin.

This makes it all the more devastating to share that their son Parker was the victim of a hit & run on Tuesday, September 20th. Parker was biking with friends when he was hit by a large pickup with a driver who left without stopping to help the child she tossed into the road.

Thankfully, Parker wore a helmet that protected his head from being smashed along with his bicycle. Parker suffered a broken tibia, two broken ribs, a punctured lung, and several broken teeth.

Between the ambulance ride, medical care, dental care, and recovery, Parker’s medical bills with be astronomical. Please consider helping the DeFord family by taking away the stress of these expenses and other needs that arise.
