Passing of Firefighter Wurster-Family Support

I come to you with a heavy heart to bear the horrible news that our friend and brother Chris Wurster lost his hard fought battle with Cancer yesterday afternoon. The Nevada Yuba Placer Unit, CAL FIRE, and the fire service as a whole has lost a true professional, a brother and a friend. I ask that your prayers be with Chris’ family in the darkest of hours. As his brothers and sisters in the fire service, we are trying to raise additional funds to help Chris’ wife Krystle, their 4 year old daughter Lola, and their 6 month old son Max remove some of the financial burdens associated with the loss of our dear friend.
