Oklahoma Sunbelt for Patrick
Donation protected
My son Patrick Mulligan, of the Ottawa Nepean Canadians Baseball Club, has dreams of the MLB. He works and trains hard and this year, he earned a rostered spot on the Team Canada sophomore team headed to Oklahoma City to play in the renowned Oklahoma Sunbelt Classic Baseball tournament.
The team fees to play, along with airfare and food costs for this prestigious event are approximately $2200.00 per player. I am a single hard working mom and simply can not afford this cost on my own but I do not want my son to miss the opportunity to play simply because of financial status.
This is a big deal for Patrick as a young Canadian baseball player, (ranked 7th overall in his position as a shortstop in Ontario, Canada). This tournament will provide him the opportunity not only to play some top-notch baseball but also to be seen by scouts and coaches across the US, opening doors to possible scholarships in order to continue and propel him along his path to success.
