Children's Adventure Book

My name is Patrick Giambalvo, I'm 33 years of age and I live in Mill Valley, California. I attended Dominican University of California where I attained my B.A. in Humanities and Cross Cultural Studies. Upon completion of this degree, I went back to school to further my education. Four years later, I completed my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. Since then, I've been an educator for over 10 years in various capacities. Currently, I'm a full-time 7th/8th grade Special Ed. Teacher in Marin County California serving children with various learning disabilities. I help students experience academic success on a daily basis. As students achieve and recognize these successes, their confidence grows and they find joy in learning. My goal is to be the best role model I can be and impact the lives of as many learners as possible! I thrive to inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. I'm campaigning for money for the cost of my editorial services, hiring illustrators for the novel, and the cost of production. When I reach my fundraising goal, I will have achieved one of my life-long goals. My dream is to a create a children's novel that teaches my philosophical approaches to life's lessons, i.e.; persistence, compassion, and respect, to name a few. I've been blessed with a powerful ability to captivate the imagination of my students with my story telling skills.
