Hiking The Appalachian Trail

I am a retired Sergeant Major and a disabled veteran from Special Forces. I will be walking the Appalachian Trail (2,190 miles) with my daughter starting on March 1st, 2018.  I will be raising funds for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (www.specialops.org). 100% of the donations will go to the foundation and will be used in the following manner:

1.  College scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operations service members.
2.  Family & educational counseling, including in-home tutoring.
3.  Immediate $5,000.00 financial grants to severly combat wounded Special Operations service members.

I hope you will consider donating any amount for hiking the Appalachian Trail. I will be collecting donations from now through September 2018.  Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

There will be photo’s posted on my site as well as on the Special Operations Warrior Foundation site throughout the hike.
