Disco Drummer Paul Service’s Untimely Death

Donation protected
No mother should have to bury her child. Unfortunately, Patsy now has to bury her firstborn son, Paul, only three weeks after saying farewell to her own sweetheart. The devasting blow was only made worse by her inability to be with her son at his death. A senior citizen, Patsy finds herself struggling to pay for two funerals in one month on a limited income. She lives in Georgia and needs your help getting home to Jamaica to lay her son to rest. Paul gave so much joy to others as one of the original members of the iconic group GQ in the 70s and 80s. He was a masterful drummer with the signature sound on classic hits that still play today. Go listen to "Disco Nights" Rock Freak https://youtu.be/wPITlS9DEqU and appreciate that disco sound that makes you move and smile. If you remember that song, if you find yourself moving to the beat, please consider supporting this appeal. Prior to his music career, Paul served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1975. Any amount will help. Mama Patsy hopes to raise $10,000 to cover the cost of funeral expenses and travel and accommodations to Jamaica for herself, Paul's daughter, and his sister. Help her say goodbye to her son. Help her see him and take care of him one last time. Thank you so much.
