Hope Springs Eternal #Paws4Ahome
Tax deductible
THIS TRIO (now just Daniel and Cooper) NEEDS A HOME. Daniel and his canine companions have spent more than NINE YEARS putting the needs of others above their own. They have hearts for giving but now they need help. They have been homeless for over seven years, living out of a car to they can travel to those who are suffering. Now they are looking to find A PLACE TO CALL HOME. Daniel is ever vigilant, looking for a modest travel trailer that would provide shelter from the elements. Please help us get Daniel in a permanent shelter. Our first goal was Thanksgiving of 2020. Now we are just hoping for "soon."
Many years ago, Daniel began his call to serve others by as an EMT. During his training, he was electrocuted and burned over much of his body. Eighteen months and 17 surgeries later, he was able to start living again, but definitely not the same as before.
Since October 2012, Daniel and his two golden retriever care dogs have been without a home. While moving from Big Bear, CA Daniel encountered financial hardship. Still homeless in April of 2013; he felt a sense of urgency to drive 3,400 miles from San Luis Obispo, CA to Boston, MA to provide hope and help people heal after the Boston Marathon Bombings (4-15-2013).
He and his K-9s have since been across America numerous times, going to people and places that have suffered various tragedies and disasters. The latest was the aftermath of the Conception Boat Fire in Santa Barbara & Saugus High School shooting in Santa Clarita.
In March and April 2020, this team took #SnacksandSmiles2020 to First Responders throughout California. Where ever they go, they encourage others to #PawsToSmile, #PawsToRest, and #LoveJoyandHOPEtoday.
For seven years, Daniel and his two companions have been giving hugs and HOPE to those that they encounter, all while putting aside their need for a permanent home. Now weary and spent out; they need a more permanent respite.
A friend has helped Daniel get a van that has tinted windows and AC, and it has a hitch. So if we can raise enough money to help him, he may be able to purchase a tow-behind camper or RV. Daniel has never looked for anything extravagant, but it praying for help to find a simple place that is safe.
Please consider giving HOPE now to a team who has responded to FORTY-NINE (49) USA tragedies. A small gift will make a large impact on these messengers of Joy, Love and HOPE.
Others have written much more eloquently than I can about Daniel and his two boys.

I (Tracy-from Colorado) am working with a wonderful non-profit (Open Path out of Austin TX) to host this fundraiser for Daniel (from CA). I know that gets a little confusing but EVERY penny raised will go to Daniel to help in his effort to find a home. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our team.
