Selamat Datang everyone. At the $2.50 shop, our mission is to make delicious traditional malay food at affordable prices for the needy community, mainly the elderly folks who are on constant medications, living alone without families in their lives and unemployed, single parents and the middle class workers who are suffering in the times on inflation.

Jalan Kukoh is one of the poorest living estate in Singapore. The residents of Jalan Kukoh live in rental flats. With the rising costs of living, The $2.50 Shop is making the meals to be pocket friendly without compromising on the quantity, nutrition or ingredients.

Our goal is to expand our reach and to bring the concept of making affordable food to the rest of Singapore.

We aspire to be able to sustain the shop for as long as we are able to amidst the inflation and the GST hike. As all the necessities are increasing, we are appealing to the generaous people to assist us in this journey of enabling the vulnerable community at Jalan Kukoh continues to have a hearty, affordable and nutritious meal.
