Peggy D. needs a car

Hello, My name is Elaine.

I am fundraising for my friend Peggy Dulaney. She is the most sweet, deserving person you could come across. Unfortunately she has had to deal with more tragedy than most.

 

She lost her eldest son to homicide, her middle child is in jail, both parents and her husband passed on. The mother's of her son's children won't allow her to visit her grandchildren. Fortunately she has a daughter and grand daughter who are in her life.

 

She has been struggling just to survive for many years. Getting ahead seems to elude her at nearly every turn. Having the money to buy a car is out of reach for her.

 

She needs a car to get to work so she doesn't have to depend on the bus. She has to walk several blocks late at night to her apartment from the bus stop. I worry for her safety. I would also like to set her up with insurance and registration for at least the first year. The car has not been chosen yet, but I am imagining she will need a new compact car, so she won't have to deal with repairs. Funds needed ASAP.

 

If she had a car to drive to work, I know she and I both would be extremely grateful. It would show her that people really do care, even people she doesn't know. Thank you in advance for your generous donation.
