Fundraise: World Scout Jamboree

Hi, my name is Penelope, I am 14 years old and I have been selected to represent the UK at the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. 

The Jamboree will be held in Saemangum, South Korea, attended by 40,000 scouts/explorers from all across the globe. The camp lasts for ten days and we will meet many people, helping other Scouts understand more about the UK, as well as learning about many different global cultures too. 

The whole experience including my fundraising journey will last 18 months, and during this I will develop new life skills, take on new responsibilities, and really work to help others too.  I will be organizing many events to work towards my fundraising target, such as cake, plant & jumble sales, and have also taken on the challenge to build my own raft for a sponsored raft trip on 16th July (see https://www.pensraftchallenge.com)
