Honoring the life of Peta Pottinger

Peta Pottinger [was] a queer, black, neurodiverse nonbinary immigrant who loved spicy foods and the sound of black people laughing.

It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge that Peta passed on September 24, 2024. Peta's family and friends, on the west and east coast, are organizing celebrations in honor of hir life.

As people who love[d] Peta, we are fundraising for some specific items, below.

Sharing travel costs for family members who will be traveling to west coast for memorial services
Memorial service costs (printing programs and other funeral home arrangement costs, etc)
Preparing (i.e. clothes, books, memorabilia) and mailing Peta's belongings for re-homing.

Any amount given is deeply appreciated. All remaining funds, beyond the above costs, will go to Peta's given / biological family or social justice groups that Peta supported. Peta was very community minded; please give in the spirit of community generosity that Peta valued.
