Peter Stoner's rally against Cancer

I can't think of a more fitting present for my mother on Mother's Day than to try and help take some of the pressure off her during this difficult time.
On the 23rd of December, 2016, my Father was diagnosed with Peripheral T - Cell Lymphoma Stage 4. It's a very rare cancer that only 7% of all lymphoma patients are diagnosed with. Treatment for it is diffcult as not much research is put in to this disease.
Dad has had 4 rounds of chemo that have unfortuantely only given a mixed response and is now about to have his 2nd round of a new chemo that will hopefully work. If his follow up pet scan shows the cancer has shrunk, he will go straight in to having a stem cell transplant. He needs this as it is the only hope that will give him any chance of remission.
Now is the time that it is starting to get difficult. My parent's run a Post office and accommodation in a small country town. So while taking full time care of my dad, my mum is also having to work full time. Unfortunately neither my siblings nor I live in the same state, so we are all traveling down and helping when we can. The town have been lovely and are also helping out where they can. My parents live rurally and it is a long 2 and 1/2 hour drive for dad to go to hospital for his chemo. The trip for the stem cell transplant and pet scan takes a five hours drive and will involve a long term stay in hospital.
My dad is one of those people that is always first in line to help out anyone that needs an extra hand. He is a gentle soul and is loved by all who know him. While it's always difficult asking for money and help when you need it, my parents really need the help now for all they are about to endure. This next step will be long and arduous for them, with all the travel and horrendous treatment which will hopefully lead to the road to wellness for him. Mum wants to be by dad's side supporting him, which means paying for accommodation, wages for someone to run the post office and fuel for all the travel required. Plus general medical bills and household bills that are stacking up while she's by dad's side.
Please share this link and donate. Every little bit helps.
And please pray for my dad and keep him in your thoughts.
Thank you, from the bottom on my families hearts.
