Help please! My health stopped my income.

Hi my name is Jerri I am 54 years old andfeeling defeated. I'm trying to raise money to pay my car payments, and medical bills. I lost my job due to not being able to pass my DOT physical due. Spondylosis and advance degenerative disks disease in my spine also COPD . This was very sudden and I was not expecting it so soon. I have been a truck driver for over 15 years. I had been working hard trying to pay off my debts knowing that I would have to retire due to my back issues. I never expected that I would not pass my physical due to lung problems. Here is my story....

Back in mid August my DOT physical came due. I went to the doctor for my recertification. The doctor became concerned about all the medication I was on for my back and due to my age she wanted me to take the sleep apnea test. I went straight to my regular doctor and scheduled the test. Much to my surprise, I found out that I have COPD and low oxygen levels while I am sleeping. I tried the sleep apnea device with added oxygen and had a serious adverse reaction. It caused me to go into a severe asthma attack. Due to this reaction DOT will not allow me to drive anymore and took my CDL.

I am seeing the doctor often and now am on inhalers and breathing treatments. Along with my back issues (Degenerative disk disease and spondylosis and i also just found out that I have Cerebellar Tonsillar Ectopia (this is an issue with the base of the brain and the brain stem). I have started my disability but as most people know it is a long process. I am seeking help to pay my bills. Car payment the most because it gets me to the doctor, until I can get other help. Please if you can help me it would be greatly appreciated and a blessing.
