Geologist Daniel Robinson was last seen the morning of June 23, 2021, leaving his worksite in the desert of Buckeye, AZ. He was driving his 2017 blue/grey Jeep Renegade and is believed to have headed west into desert terrain.

He oversees many sites located in remote desert locations, often working in extreme conditions and traveling long distances to work on projects.

Daniel has an innate passion for adventure and is known to travel inopportune moments. However, he always communicates with friends and family about his travel plans. Initially, a missing person report was filed that same evening on the day he was last seen, and we have utilized all avenues that law enforcement could contribute.

Vehicle:

A rancher discovered Daniel's Jeep Renegade in a remote part of the desert 3 miles from the Well Site where Daniel was last seen. Though the vehicle has now been recovered, Daniel remains missing.

My name is David Robinson II, Daniel's father, and I traveled over 2k miles from South Carolina to be on the frontline of all efforts to locate my son. Like any father, I intended to stay indefinitely until we get answers and bring Daniel home safely. We know that sometimes, when Law enforcement isn't enough, we must do things ourselves, especially when you are a parent. I could do so because of the financial help of people like you. We used $300k over 3 years to fund my search efforts to find Daniel and keep his case from cold case status.

I have organized and conducted over 49 weeks of desert searches.

I started an independent investigation into my son's disappearance.
I hired a Private Investigator for a multi-focus investigation.
Solved a case for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
I found human remains during my searches, bringing closure to other families.
I started a podcast to raise awareness of Daniel's case and to help other families tell their loved ones' stories.
I started a City Search to cover hospitals, mental wards, and the homeless populations.
I started a robust flyer distribution that distributed thousands of flyers across the US.
I traveled to follow leads.
I secured meetings with federal and state law enforcement and government agencies, including the Mayor.
I attended events to bring awareness to the Missing American Crises.
I founded the Daniel Robinson Foundation.
I even ran for US Congress in hopes of bringing new legislation that will aid families and law enforcement in finding missing Americans quickly.
