Donate to evacuate our parents out Gaza for urgent surgery

Greetings from Hisham’s family. Hisham and Marwa started their life together in Gaza 9 years a ago.

Hisham and Marwa managed to evacuate Gaza last November 2023 after they went through devastating moments of bombing and facing death everywhere. Both lost their beautiful house, life, work and all the dreams they had together.

When they had the chance to leave, they knew that this would not be the only suffers they faced and they know that their heart stay broken as they left the rest of their beloved there.

Hisham's father (Essam) the calm and his smiley face and his mother (Hejar) the most emotional and calm women you can ever meet, the kindest heart you can ever find, who cannot bear all this fear and losses are still there, suffering and trapped in Gaza.

Both used to receive medical treatment for chronic diseases such as diabetes and blood pressure, and because of the horrible situation they couldn’t even access their treatment and medication. It’s not only the lack of water, food and shelter but also accessing their medications that starts being a dream for them.

Essam is 64 years old and due to suffering for almost 6 months now created thyroid disorder. He is trying every day to access any proper health facility, but this is almost impossible. Essam needs to evacuate Gaza immediately to have his surgery done and to be hospitalized before it’s too late.

Hejer is 60 years old, she is suffering from and blood pressure, and recently had kidney stones due to lake of any life standards.

Both Marwa and I created this link as we count on you to help my parents. We count on you to evacuate them where they can receive proper medical assistance. We count on you to save their lives.

We are seeking to raise $18,000 to facilitate our beloved evacuation to Egypt and to have Essam Surgery done. Here's a breakdown of the funds:

• 10,000$ for Permits and Crossing Fees: The bulk of the funds, 10,000$, is crucial to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza and the crossing fees required at the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafah. This amount breaks down to 5,000$ per person.

• 582$ to cover GoFundMe's Transaction fees. The transaction fee (2.9%+$0.30 per donation)

The rest of around $ 7,300 will go to help our parents covering surgery cost, transportation and basic needs such as clothes and medications during the treatment period
