PLEASE HELP BOBBY AND CATHY WARD

Hi,

My name is Cindy Mohr Barnett. I am trying to raise money for Bobby and Cathy, who are both disabled. They do not ask for help, but it has come the time where they need it desperately.

This is Bobby's words. "Cathy, who has diabetes, a major stroke, and MS, is basically in a wheelchair 100% of the time. She needs assistance doing anything, and being disabled myself, I have great difficulty giving her help.

While I am SO appreciative to God for giving me the inner strength to give her help, when she falls or bathes, it takes me several minutes and all the strength both of us have to get her upon her feet or into the bath.

She and I both are losing ability to do much. I'm receiving disability, but because she didn't work for 5 of the last 10 years, she gets nothing. So she doesn't get any Medicare or Medicade, and since I just started receiving disability, I can't get it until 2023. We've needed a walk-in tub for two years, and have called every program for assistance, but we were told by the United Way today that we will not ever be helped in getting a walk-in tub because they are too expensive.

We don't qualify for any in home assistance of any kind, and I'm frustrated. I can't even get food stamps, because I get $300 too much in disability. But the disability isn't enough to pay my bills. "

They need a walk in tub, and other assistant items to help them because there is no assistance available for them.

Please donate if you can, and please share. The sooner we can raise this and have necessary items installed, the less chance that Cathy or Bobby will fall and that will be difficult to recover from.
