Please help Cayden Ledoux while he recovers

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am fundraising for my sisters son, Cayden Ledoux.

My kind, caring, generous, smart, handsome, funny and genuine 16 year old nephew Cayden was in a horrible tragic accident at work on April 1st 2024. He was run over by the backend of a large forklift. He sustained extensive injuries all over his body. He was airlifted to Children’s Hospital. His injuries were to significant to treat so he was shipped to Vancouver General Hospital. 6 of the top trauma surgeons in BC took his case.

His pelvis was separated from his spine and broken in multiple spots. His spine shaped like a horseshoe and pelvis riding into his ribs. His skin is de-gloved on the left side of his upper body. His lungs and heart were bruised significantly. 9 ribs on the left side are broken or fractured. He had internal bleeding, two tears on the bladder. Minor damage to the kidneys and a fractured scapula. He's on life support breathing tubes and feeding tubes. His ankle may be broken as well but the surgeons are not focused on that now. He may need a hip joint replacement, undetermined at this time.

His family lives in Lillooet but both his Mom Christina Ledoux (Gibb) and his Dad Tucker Ledoux are staying in Vancouver for a long period of time. The surgeons are estimating that recovery will take months or more with rehabilitation. My sister, Christina will need to take time off work to care for him. I will add updates whenever I receive them from my sister.
