Assisting Taher and the El Wadia family to Safety from Gaza's war

Hello, I'm Nadia Khanam-Ali, reaching out to you with a heavy heart on behalf of my close friend, the El Wadia family — Taher who is a dear friend of mine, is an active paramedic for a medical organisation in Gaza for over 10+ years. Taher has a wife Safaa (33) and they have 2 beautiful young daughters, Joury (3.5 yrs old) and Massa (nearly 6 months old). In total there is 20 members including 8 children.

The El Wadia family use to reside in Gaza city and had been forcibly displaced to Al Mawasi Khan Younis, where they are still being attacked. Unfortunately, the El Wadia family have lost 2 of their family members during this horrific ongoing war on palestine.

Enduring 140 days of displacement and hardship since the war has started, Taher and his family are urgently seeking to evacuate to Egypt for the safety of their family. This war has taken away their home, their livelihoods and they are struggling to survive.

Taher and Safaa fear for their innocent children's safety and well-being by the horrors of war and it is a burden too heavy to bear.

To give you a glimpse into their daily struggle, they wake up or barely sleep, due to a relentless battle for survival after surviving deadly nights. Having to use wood for cooking with no water supply with minimal food like beans to survive on. The entire area lacks fuel, basic necessities, including medicine, nappies, milk and women's menstrual products, even for those with the means to purchase them. Limited humanitarian assistance is barely reaching the border.

Taher and I have gotten to know each other at the start of the war. He has asked me to help them, as they desperately need assistance to cover immediate needs, permits, crossing fees, visa applications, and covering some cost in Egypt.

▷ The estimated costs include:

◉ Immediate Support: This portion will go towards providing immediate assistance to the El Wadia family in Gaza now, as there is a spike in the cost of living, making it challenging to obtain basic necessities.

◉ Permits and Crossing Fees: Expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza and the crossing fees required at the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafah.

◉ Visa application fees and Passport fees.

◉ A new beginning in Egypt: Your donation will also help the El Wadia family start a new life in Egypt, offering them safety and stability as follows:
