Hi, My name is Jack. I sell the Big Issue on Park Street and have led a very interesting and varied life. Bouncing up and down the country, getting into all sorts of interesting scrapes and adventures. I suffer from a form of dyslexia called dysgraphia. It means that though I can read insanely quickly and remember so, so much of what i have read, when I try and write or type, I end up looking and sounding like an idiot. In fact, at this very moment, a very kind person is typing this for me! I also have Aspergers and ADD, but I have finally found a place and a person I fit with selling the Big Issue on Park Street married to my lovely wife.
My condition means that I read an awful lot. Since age 11, when my Mum first threw the Hitchikers Guide to me, I have been practically obsessed with science fiction. Since that time, I have also played a great deal of role-playing games. I have kept the same universe consistently for three decades, which means that many of the characters that populate it are influenced not just by my mind but by the minds of hundreds of other people who I find either interesting, enlightening or exciting. Because of my nomadic lifestyle up to this point and the fact that I haven't kept anything written down, I've had to keep this world as a mental construct. It's allowed me to plan out a fantastic series of adventures for an engaging, flawed and, above all very, very human main character. But the problem is, I just can't get it down on paper or on the screen. Because I sell the Big Issue for a living, I don't exactly have the resources to make it possible. So, here I am, asking for your help.
