Point Loma Pharmacy Security Guard
Donation protected
OUR Neighborhood Pharmacy, owned and operated by an independent local resident, is needing to take unusual precautions after being robbed at gunpoint twice in a month.
At his own expense Michael Saad, the owner, is having to pay for a security guard. This will eat into the bottom line. The loss of profits is relatively easy to bear but with the Pharmacist having resigned the loss of valuable staff is a longer term issue as it could seriously impact the future of the business.
Hence Michael has had to hire a security guard, at his own cost, to continue to serve the community while minimizing the risk to staff and customers alike. These guards are expensive and all funds raised will be ONLY used to pay for this guard until the suspect is appreheded.
Anything you can do to help defray the cost of this guard will help maintain the viability and long term presence of this valuable community resource.
Michael and his wife, Andrea, who is active in the business are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the community expressing gratitude to all. We are asking that this support continue in words but also by please funding this campaign if you are able.
