Help Yousef and his family

My name is Yousef, and I used to work as a lawyer. Life was hard, but manageable. However, everything changed when war tore through our lives.

My mother Yousra suffers from heart disease, and I have been taking care of her for years. I also take care of my sister Samia, whose husband was tragically killed in the war. She has six young children who now depend on us.

To make matters worse, our home was completely destroyed in the war. We are left with nothing, living in a small tent that barely fits us, let alone provides shelter from the coming winter. We face the cold, the rain, and the uncertainty of each day, wondering how we will survive.

I’ve never thought I’d be asking for help, but I am turning to the kindness of others in this difficult time. Even a 6-dollar or five-euro donation (it’s the minimun allowed by Gofundme) would mean the world to us. Every bit can help as we trying to rebuild our lives and find a safe place to call home again.

Mi chiamo Yousef e ho lavorato come avvocato. La vita era dura, ma gestibile. Tuttavia, tutto è cambiato quando la guerra ha stravolto le nostre vite.

Mia madre Yousra soffre di malattie cardiache e me ne prendo cura da anni. Mi prendo anche cura di mia sorella Samia, il cui marito è stato tragicamente ucciso in guerra. Ha sei bambini piccoli che ora dipendono da noi.

A peggiorare le cose, la nostra casa è stata completamente distrutta dalla guerra. Siamo rimasti senza niente, vivendo in una piccola tenda che a malapena ci ospita, tanto meno ci protegge dal freddo in arrivo. Affrontiamo il freddo, la pioggia e l'incertezza di ogni giorno, chiedendoci come riusciremo a sopravvivere.

Non avrei mai pensato di chiedere aiuto, ma mi rivolgo alla gentilezza degli altri in questo momento difficile. Anche una donazione di 6 dollari o 5 euro (è il minimo consentito da Gofundme) significherebbe moltissimo per noi. Ogni contributo può aiutare mentre cerchiamo di ricostruire le nostre vite e trovare un posto sicuro da chiamare di nuovo casa.

أنا يوسف وعملت محاميًا. كانت الحياة صعبة، لكنها قابلة للإدارة. ومع ذلك، كل شيء تغير عندما غيّرت الحرب حياتنا.

والدتي يسرى تعاني من أمراض القلب وقد كنت أعتني بها لسنوات. كما أعتني بأختي سامية، التي قُتل زوجها بشكل مأساوي في الحرب. لديها ستة أطفال صغار يعتمدون علينا الآن.

لزيادة الطين بلة، دُمرت منزلنا بالكامل بسبب الحرب. نحن بلا شيء، نعيش في خيمة صغيرة بالكاد تسعنا، ناهيك عن حمايتنا من البرد الذي يقترب. نواجه البرد، والمطر، وعدم اليقين كل يوم، نتساءل كيف سنتمكن من البقاء على قيد الحياة.

لم أكن أعتقد أبدًا أنني سأطلب المساعدة، لكنني ألتجئ إلى لطف الآخرين في هذه اللحظة الصعبة. حتى تبرع بقيمة 6 دولارات أو 5 يورو (هذا هو الحد الأدنى المسموح به من Gofundme) يعني الكثير بالنسبة لنا. كل مساهمة يمكن أن تساعدنا بينما نحاول إعادة بناء حياتنا وإيجاد مكان آمن لنعود إليه.

Mi nombre es Yousef y solía trabajar como abogado. La vida era dura, pero manejable. Sin embargo, todo cambió cuando la guerra arrasó nuestras vidas.

Mi madre Yousra sufre una enfermedad cardíaca y yo la cuido desde hace años. También cuido de mi hermana Samia, cuyo marido murió trágicamente en la guerra. Tiene seis hijos pequeños que ahora dependen de nosotros.

Para empeorar las cosas, nuestra casa quedó completamente destruida en la guerra. Nos quedamos sin nada, viviendo en una pequeña tienda de campaña en la que apenas nos cabe, y mucho menos nos protege del invierno que se avecina. Nos enfrentamos al frío, la lluvia y la incertidumbre de cada día, preguntándonos cómo sobreviviremos.

Nunca pensé que estaría pidiendo ayuda, pero recurro a la bondad de los demás en este momento difícil. Incluso una donación de 6 dólares o cinco euros (es el mínimo permitido por Gofundme) significaría muchísimo para nosotros. Todo puede ayudar mientras intentamos reconstruir nuestras vidas y encontrar un lugar seguro al que llamar hogar nuevamente.
