Pull4Purpose2022-23

It’s been such a wild ride over the last 18mths since I started to work with Hyundai Help for Kids on the #carpullforkids campaign to raise money for Little Wings, Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald and no one could imagine when we first spoke that it would all unfold the way that did and quite honestly it was the most fulfilling 18mths of my life.

I had the absolute privilege of hearing the stories of families we had helped and was lucky enough to meet a few.

Hearing some of their challenges and stories pushed me to not only help but to do more and be more, there’s something about being apart of something that is so much bigger than yourself that is truly special.

So I got thinking about what happens after #carpullforkids? What’s next? I mean we’ve built up such a great profile over the last 18mths it doesn’t seem right to just walk away, I mean how can I walk away from kids like Zac that have lost an eye before their 10th Birthday or Ava who has had her battles with Leukemia from 2yrs old and my buddy Jessie who at just 3yrs old is fighting Cystic Fibrosis? I may not be able to help directly but at least in directly I can do some good in my own quirky way and know that at least that makes things just a little easier and more comfortable for them.

Having become a Dad myself for the first time at the end of 2021 I can’t imagine what these families go though, the instinct to protect and want to help your own child is a driving force greater than anything else so welcome to 2022 and it is an absolute honour to introduce Pull 4 Purpose.

So what is Pull 4 Purpose? Well it’s a group of Strongmen and Strongwomen who are using Strongman and Feats of Strength to help make a positive difference in the world, we’re bringing back the spectacle and showmanship and together looking to help those who need it most.

The first fundraiser or 2022 is dedicated to Little Wings, an organisation who help critically ill and injured kids and their families from regional NSW by flying them to Sydney or John Hunter in Newcastle for treatment, Clare and her team do an incredible job but they could do so much more if they had more resources as demand is higher than ever so we’re on a mission to raise enough money to buy them at least 1 more vehicle for their fleet- this extra vehicle will help transport even more families and best of all- ALL DONATIONS ABOVE $2 ARE 100% FULLY TAX DEDUCTABLE!
