Queer South Asian Women’s Network
Donation protected
The Queer South Asian Women’s (QSAW) Network is a grassroots organization seeking to enhance visibility & a sense of belongingness amongst gender marginalized LGBTQ+ South Asian diaspora. We are volunteer run and currently pay for operational expenses out of our pockets. Donations would be greatly appreciated to help us provide programming and services to our community.
We are currently raising funds to:
1. Continue expanding our capacity to hold events and offer services free-of-charge for Queer South Asian folk of marginalized genders. We currently host a monthly workshop series: Chai & Chill.
2. Apply for Non-Profit status, which would afford us the eligibility to apply for grants and secure further funding.
3. Conduct needs-assessments to better understand the underrepresented concerns of the QSAW community to inform the direction of our initiatives.
4. Contribute resources and supports for Queer South Asian folk of marginalized genders in navigating mental health, sexual health, family acceptance, family violence, and more.
