RCC VICTORY Capital Campaign "25"
Tax deductible
TWENTY FIVE ... ALL IT TAKES IS "25"
On any given weekday, you can come by our gym and see approximately 125-160 children from ages 4-17 years of age participating in the Black Top Kings and Queens Basketball Program located in the gym on the campus of the Richmond Christian Center.
On Wednesday afternoons you will find a minimum of thirty five youths between the ages of 5-13 engaged in Bible Study.
The ability to reach a new generation for Christ is one of the reasons why we are so passionate about keeping the property that the Lord gave us!
The chant "25!" means all it takes is a total of 8,000 faithful members, friends of our extended congregation (those of you that continually affirm that RCC is your home) friends of the ministry and people with a vision to each give $25 to reach our goal of $200,000. All it takes is $25!
Our congregants are excited that we are currently in the final processes of emerging from our Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing while Pastor Parson continues on his sabbatical. It has been, and continues to be “a good fight of faith.” God gave us favor with a person of influence to navigate the bankruptcy reorganization and restructuring process. Thankfully, this favor has resulted in RCC keeping our property located at 214 Cowardin Avenue, as well as, God’s continued wisdom, guidance and faithfulness to us.
Why are we using GoFundMe? Because we would like to give you an opportunity to invest in us both prayerfully and financially. Here's the skinny. On September 9, 2015, we are scheduled to have our reorganization plan confirmed. As a good show of faith that we are ready to emerge successfully, we need a minimum of $200,000 to complete our victory capital goal.
While the congregants of RCC are committed to assuring that this happens and have already donated a considerable amount that cannot be displayed here, we are also reaching outside of our four walls to those who have been blessed by the ministry of the Richmond Christian Center and the Word of God ministered by Dr. Steve Parson.
We believe that NOW is an excellent time to show your love and financial support. You can choose to give a minimum of $25 or whatever else is impressed upon your heart to give, plant or sow into the ministry. You can give $25 per week for 4 weeks, you can give a one time gift of $100, you can give a minimum of $1,000, or you can give $1,000 in $250 increments over 4 weeks ... let your heart guide your giving. However, also have a spirit of expectancy. Expect God to move on your behalf because of your desire to see this ministry continue for the glory and honor of God our Father, in order to do the work of Jesus, in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We believe that whatever you make happen for others, God will make happen for you! Ephesians 6:8
By keeping this very vital ministry in the forefront, we continue our mission to “change lives and make a difference for eternity.” RCC wants to collaborate and partner with other ministries just like The Black Top Kings and Queens Basketball Academy Led by Manny Harris and BrownStone Sports, LLC, led by Collin Brown... ministries that are making a significant impact in the lives of our youth, young adults and adults. Our campus is the perfect location to develop additional ministries while making disciples for Christ. "All it takes is $25."
Again, thank you for allowing us to share our good news. Thank you for believing with us, praying with us, praying for us and giving of your financial resources! We are cleaving to God’s promises in Luke 6:38; Hebrews 11:6: Matthew 7:7-12 and Numbers 23:19. We believe that God will make good on His promises to prosper the life of Richmond Christian Center for “We believe that we receive a minimum of $200,000 by August 31, 2015.”
