Go Fund Me refunded all of you your donations!  SHIT!! all $14,500 of them!

We have been working with them to rectify this but the only option is for you to make your donation again.  You should have recieved an email from the team at GoFundMe confirming this.

Originally I set up this go fund me account for my dear friend. This special lady was shocked and wanted me to take the page down but I kept it up and you kept your donations coming… after many discussions she said she wanted the funds to go to a place where it is needed so badly. 

This money is (was!) going Rafiki Mwema to build a road and they will call this road ‘Rafiki Way’

“We have decided to use the money to enhance the safety of our girls at Rafiki Mwema and we will be putting a gate and a road through our land to take us to Queens castle. At the moment we have to drive around our land, through some very very rough land, often it is almost impossible to get through in a vehicle. Often we are contacted late in the day to collect a baby girl who has been in court all day and has been assigned to Rafiki Mwema for care and protection, but driving that drive is dangerous and frightening, especially in the dark. When we take our children to hospital when they are sick we will be and feel much safer. We are so worried about going out at dark and fear a night trip to the hospital – there is so much poverty and need a vehicle moving through those roads at night can be an attractive prospect. Our own road, which was always in our plans but not in our budget will make so much difference to the safety of our precious cargo – our children. “

Now, the thing is.. they have started building this road and I was due to send this money to Kenya this week but now I have not 1 cent of it. 

I am begging you to make your donation again so I can get these funds to Rafiki Mwema so they can pay for this road!

…and you know what? We could smash the goal and raise even more! Rafiki have told me of another urgent need that have at the moment and you can read about it below:

The other huge thing going on in Rafiki World (just turn left at Rafiki Way!) is that we need to have our small boys in their own house as quick as possible. Nothing major but the house they are sharing with the Kings is a bit cramped now and we want them to experience the freedom of living at the farm. They are just little boys who need to play and run in safety. So we need an extra building, QUICKLY which will be used as a recreation area once they move in with their brothers at a later date in the new King's Castle -  we never realised we needed a Prince's Palace!!!! So IMAGINE if we could smash the road goal and get the their ‘small kings’ house which would be somewhere the 5 newest kings could go to before they move into the bigger house…
