Rally for Roz
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must tell you that our dear friend Roz and her family have been struck with tragedy. On March 26th, over the Easter holiday, Roz was in a terrible car accident. She has suffered multiple severe injuries, including traumatic brain injuries that have left her in a coma. Medically, her situation is dire, and on a personal level, her family has been left to juggle the enormous burden of living life without her constant presence in their home. Their journey has just begun, however there is no doubt it will be a long one.
Rosalynn Rooney is the wife of Joe Rooney, and the dedicated mother of 3 small children, Sophia, Foster, and Coen, all students at All Saints Academy in Scranton, as well as a stepson Damian. Roz works as a nurse at Regional Hospital of Scranton, and has devoted her life to helping others in their time of need. She is one of the most hard-working moms you will ever meet, most often working long night shifts so that she can have more time to spend with her children. She has an absolutely contagious smile that could brighten any room, and is truly a beautiful person both inside and out.
First and foremost, I am asking that you please pray for Roz, and for her family to have strength at this extremely difficult time. Prayers are what she needs most right now.
In addition to prayers, any donation that you may be able to offer, however big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Any burden that we can lift for this wonderful little family in their time of need would be really helpful. As a community who has been served by Roz’s good deeds for many years, it is now our turn to give back to her. Thank you.
