Spring is here, but unusually harsh weather this past winter has caused considerable damage to many of our tents. Won't you help us rebuild in time for our camp's opening this summer?
A personal request from Rabbi Eliav Bock, Executive Director:
The good news: For our upcoming fifth camping season, Ramah in the Rockies has achieved record enrollment. We expect approximately 400 campers to join us at Ramah in Rockies this summer. We will be changing lives. We are creating a cadre of youth who are passionate about their Judaism and want to make the world a better place through environmental action and social responsibility.
The bad news: This winter has been unusually brutal at our Ramah in the Rockies camp. Record snowfall, high winds and freezing temperatures decimated many of our tents. As a result, over half have sustained considerable damage. Some are no longer useable. While we budget annually for anticipated wear and tear from winter conditions, this year the damage has been extensive.
I would like to ask that you consider a gift to assist in our reconstruction. Your gift of $18 or $36,000 (or anything in between) will be put to immediate use in accomplishing our reconstruction.
Thank you for considering this request. Please visit our website to see how our camp has grown.
