Ramsgate 2 Dartford - Supporting Nikita's Recovery
Donation protected
Last August our family was hit by a tragedy. We were given the news that our little sister, Nikita, had fallen from a 4 story building. She was given a 10% chance of survival and we were told she'd sustained severe brain damage from the accident. Our family was utterly devastated. However, Nikita proved the doctors wrong. She showed us and the doctors how strong she is and pulled through.
Since day one we've been going up every single day without fail to show her that we are here for her and to keep her strong and fighting. Even when our cars broke down or we had no money to afford it we always found a way. No excuses and no exceptions.
Now she's no longer fighting to survive, she's fighting to get her life back bit by bit and she is coming along leaps and bounds. Which is the reason we are making this GoFundMe. We asked for help before when things looked bleak but now we're asking for help again but this time it's for something more positive!
This GoFundMe aims to get money for a special wheelchair from America that will aid in Nikita's recovery. Allowing her to have some of her independence back, increasing her chances of a fuller recovery and allowing her to come home where she belongs. However, we don't like asking for handouts as that isn't who we are. We want to give something back to say thank you to anyone who donates, shares or even take's the time to hear us out.
So we've decided to raise money and support Nikita by pushing ourselves on a bike ride from the Royal Parade in Ramsgate to the centre that deals with her rehabilitation in Dartford, whilst live streaming the entire event (We will also be using the live stream to thank anyone kind enough to donate). That's 70 miles in total and the event will be held on the 17th of August!
Any remaining money after we get the wheelchair will go to the rehabilitation centre that is currently pushing her to get better day by day.
Thank you for taking the time to read our GoFundMe.
