Ranita's Journey To Beat Cancer

Created for our Mom, Ranita, with Love - by Deeandra and Stacia Stevens
As many of you know in late October our Mother, Ranita (known to many as GaGa), was diagnosed with Stage 2 Endometrial Cancer, which was devastating news to all of us. The road ahead for her is going to be challenging as her course of treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. At her age, and already having a pacemaker, this is not only without risks, but it will be physically taxing on her body, not to mention, the emotional and financial impact. With our Dad unable to work due to his own health issues and pending surgery, the financial burden grows daily. For as long as we can remember, our parents have always given to others in need (friends, family and strangers) even when they didn't have it to give.
As the holidays are quickly approaching, nothing would mean more to us than to give the gift of hope and comfort to our Mom in her time of need. This would help relieve the financial stress and worry, allowing her to focus all her strength and energy on her journey to recovery. She has always been so positive and so strong in her faith and has raised us with those same values....making us smile throughout our lifetimes and we are hoping to bring that smile back to her, relieving the worries she now carries on this journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your continued prayers for her. Please feel free to share her story even if you are unable donate.
She is more precious than rubies ~ Proverbs 3:15
Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength~ Isaiah 40:31
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her ~ Luke 1:45
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength ~ Philippians 4:13
When I am afraid I will put my trust in you ~ Psalm 56:3
