Donate today to help us warm our littlest community members!
The OPRF Knit and Crochet Club is making hats and blankets for newborn babies in our local hospitals.
Our Yarn Store, Dye Hard Yarns, is partnering with neighborhood teens from the Oak Park River Forest High School stitch club to collect donations for supplies. The club is 60 students strong now and would appreciate all the help you can give.
We currently have two active donation campaigns running right now. Learn more about our "Bring the Warmth campaign" campaign as well.
Who we are:
Dye Hard Yarns is a center for creativity, learning, community and activism. We offer a gathering spot, source of peace, inspiration and joy to all who visit. Throughout the year, we raise funds for several community based organizations, and periodically donate 10% of our own sales to Community Aid programs that are dear to our hearts.
↪️We are asking you to help with our mission.
Your donations go to programs that provide supplies, blankets, food, shelter, clothing, medical resources and other aid. You also help us to provide learning and material scholarships for those in need, create mindfulness experiences, and host fun events and charity initiatives.
It takes a village, and we hope you will be part of ours.
Thank you so much for helping us make an impact in our community! Together we can make our world a bit brighter, more loving, and leave a lasting legacy of hope.
