Rebuilding a Community Together

Dye Hard Yarns isn't just a store, it's a dream. A dream to create a center for learning, a place for community, a gathering spot & a source of peace, inspiration & joy. That's what I had in my heart when we first opened our doors. We would plant the seeds of mindfulness, nurture personal growth and inspire you to dream your biggest dreams.
In 2020, the Covid reality threw a giant wrench in those plans. It slowly drained away the life force & very ESSENCE that I had painstakingly nurtured, and we cannot go on as we have. Dye Hard Yarns needs an overhaul if it is to become the community hub it was meant to be.
It's never been about the yarn. It's always been about YOU. The people of this community. It's also about the future. The next generation. We have to create the world we wish to see.
We are asking you to help breathe new life into Dye Hard Yarns.
Your donation will go to acquiring teachers, adding regular after-school classes & clubs for kids and teens, sponsoring monthly community events, creating learning and materials scholarships for those in need, expanding our adult learning workshops and mindfulness experiences, and making our space more accessible for groups and charity initiatives.
It takes a village, and try as I might, I can't do this alone.
I want Dye Hard Yarns to be a source of sanctuary for you. A place to gather, de-stress, learn, and feel safe & welcomed. A place of encouragement that fosters self-confidence and becomes a springboard to help you reach your goals.
Together we can make our world a bit brighter, more loving, and leave a lasting legacy of hope.
