Recovery Funds needed due to work Accident

Hi, my name is Eileen Johnsen.

In the midst of horrible tragedy we reach out to others for prayers, support, love, and a glimpse of hope.

On March 29, 2022, my husband, Jim Johnsen, was in freak work accident. A 200+ tree limb fell directly on his head. Knocking him unconscious. We are blessed that he is still alive and not paralyzed! Even though he was not directly under the tree limb, the tree had other ideas. It has left him indefinitely disabled with a severe concussion and a spinal injury. As well as complications with cognitive thinking impairment, broken teeth, hearing issues and more. It is unknown as to how he will recover. This accident has taken away not only his ability to work, but his daily abilities and his livelihood of fishing, which is not a hobby but a major component of who he is as a person.

He is the sole provider for our family; as I have not been able to work in over 10 years due to medical complications such as cancer and many surgeries. He is unable to work. We have had to shut down our small home lure business as well, as he is the driving force behind it. As the strongest man I know, best husband and father anyone could ever ask for, I am left in a position to ask for help. Something we have never done before. Pride aside, as it is one of the deadliest sins, and I am left with no choice but to seek help. I thank you for your prayers, love and understanding.
