Medical Support For Artist Patrick Gourley

Dear family and friends of my children Charlotte and Bevan

As some of you know, Patrick, has been diagnosed with life threatening  liver disease.  

He is currently under the care of a private facility in Canada because his insurance doesn't cover this next level of care so we have been responsible for all these costs and more. We have had to travel to Canada many times recently to help look after Patrick and his 92 year old mum.  We had originally thought we could fly Patrick home, but he’s too unstable so we need to keep him up there until such time as he is strong enough to come to the States where he can be cared for by family and friends.

I am asking for your help by donating to the fund we have started.  He is fighting for his life and is deeply humbled by the generous donations that have been made. He has a lot more to get done. He has three unfinished books he wants to publish about his adventures in South America, but most of all he wants to bounce his grandchildren on his knee and tell them stories about his colorful life. Although divorced from him for many years, we have always remained close friends and co-parents to our children.  I deeply love this adventurous and charming man who has given so much of himself to others over the years.
