Memorial for Cory L. Philpott
Donation protected
My brother and our friend Cory Louis Philpott left this world on 8 March 2018 at 7:32 P.M. as a result of a horrific and tragic accident http://www.kptv.com/story/37675048/man-injured-dog-killed-after-being-hit-by-vehicle-on-hwy-99e-near-gladstone)
He was one of the kindest, gentle and loving human beings I have had the privilege of knowing. His smile was always quick to appear and his laugh was oh so contagious. He died the way he lived by giving to others and trying to help...an Eagle Scout to the very end. His sacrifice was not in vain, as he did not perish at the scene of the accident as reported but instead lived long enough to save lives through organ donation. The outpouring of support and love from the community has been nothing short of overwhelming. Cory touched so many lives in this world and I don't know if he knew how many people truly loved him, but he definitely knows now. I have had many requests from people how they can help and I set this up as a way for people to honor Cory and help with his funeral expenses. Anything beyond the expenses will go to Cory's young son Skyler who is able to fly up to Oregon with the help of your gracious donations. If you feel inclined to donate please feel free as well as sharing with the community....and really contemplate becoming an organ donor today! Cory was a brother, a father, a friend, a confidant and above all a blessing to all who had the joy and privilege of knowing him. Please share! Thank you and God bless.
