Remembering Duong Nguyen

On 08/27/23, Duong Nguyen was reported missing. Friends and family gathered together and restlessly searched all over Louisville, KY to locate him. Search teams were organized to find him in separate zones.

On 08/29/23, Duong was found by Detective Kevin Carillo and Detective Clark off of I-265 Gene Snyder, Exit 17, East off of Bardstown Rd.

Visitation and funeral arrangement dates are to be determined and will be announced.

The Funeral will take place at Ratterman's (7336 Southside Dr Louisville KY 40214), and he will be laid to rest at Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave Louisville KY 40204). His mother is requesting to be buried next to her son, so she's reserving two spots. His mother is currently paying out of pocket to cover this untimely funeral costs. Family and friends are organizing this GoFundMe for any contributions.

"First and foremost, my family and I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to help search and locate him. Unfortunately, we all fell a little short and he has now passed. One thing that my big 'little' brother had always taught me was that family is important and that it doesn't have to be by blood. It's the people who you choose to be around and enjoy each other's company by creating endless memories with one another. Our brother was so genuinely loved and cherished. With that being said, we greatly appreciate every single one of you for everything you have done for our family. Thank you."
