Remembering Oliver (Ollie)

This page is to raise money for my dear friend Brittany after she unexpectedly lost her best friend and furbaby, Oliver (Ollie), this past weekend. Funds will go to ER vet bill, cremation services, and a remembrance item for her. He was only 2 years old and one of the happiest and healthiest dogs. Please see the link above for the full story, but she tragically lost him after he went swimming in Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX. An hour after swimming, Ollie collapsed to the ground. Only after the traumatic experience of rushing Ollie to the ER vet and losing him did she learn about the blue algae neurotoxins being reported in the lake. Since sharing her story she has learned of other recent tragic events just like hers.

I wanted to start this page to help cover the costs of the emergency vet bill, cremation services, and remembrance item for Ollie. We can never heal the heartache, but I wanted to at least relieve some of the major expenses that come with a traumatic loss of a beloved pet. If you know Brittany, you know Ollie was her child that she took everywhere and experienced all the adventures with. She loved him with all her heart, and I’m hoping this donation can provide some comfort in the midst of all this shock and heartbreak.
