In remembrance of Andrew Caddy Gergel

My husband passed away unexpectedly early yesterday morning and I am reaching out to friends and family to help me and my family get through this hard time. 

Andrew was born on July 7, 1989 in Santa Ana, El Salvador and was adopted as a toddler. He was raised in Germantown, Maryland by his adoptive mom and his stepdad as well as his younger sister and his younger brother. 

He and I met while attending college in 2007, where he insisted on talking to me. I admit that I really didn’t want to, but he was consistent and ended up winning my heart. Like Most couples, we had our ups and downs, but we really did complete each other. He was my guardian and I was his.

On January 23, 2010, we exchanged our vows and became husband and wife and together we have 3 children. Chelsea, 11; Jonah, 4; and Ethan, 2.

This tragedy has shaken our family and I’m reaching out to ask for help. At this time, the funeral cost is over $11,500. My youngest two need to go into child care, plus I have to have one someone who works late since I work late. Parts of my house are in need of repair. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to make it without help.

Please SHARE this page for me. This is funeral costs, medical bills, daycare, household care and necessities, counseling, gas to get the boys to the playground so they can feel happiness again. My family needs as much support as we can get.
