Dearest family & friends,
We lost a truly wonderful woman, Rena died suddenly of a massive heart attack on Friday, January 22, 2021. This is tragic in so many ways to so many of us. I want to first tell you a little about Rena, and then tell you more about the reason for this request for help.
Rena cherished the time she spent with friends and family. She spent many years of her life working for Brushy Forks Nursery in Loganville, GA, where she gained the respect of so many people, and built so many deep friendships. She was always a very big part of community events and made many memories that will last a lifetime.
More than anything, Rena was a rock in her husband Frankie's life. You see, Rena was working two jobs at the time of her death just to makes ends meet. She was also the main caretaker of her husband Frankie who has Parkinson’s Disease. The medication that Frankie requires for his disease is very expensive, and although he has Medicare it does not cover all of his medical expenses. We would love to help provide whatever we can to help Frankie with his medications because he is unable to work. Please help us in doing so.
Many of you have prayed along side the family throughout this tragedy and continue to send your love & condolences. It's appreciated beyond measure. Your kind words, photos, and memories you've shared have brought a light into darkness. However, with this unexpected and sudden loss, it has left the family devastated & overwhelmed. We hope that this collection will ease the financial stress during this time, and allow Frankie to focus on grieving and not have to worry on how he will afford his medication.
As her family, we will see to it that all donations will be placed in an account to access for any medical needs, grocery expenses, transportation or as they see fit.
With a broken heart,
The family of Rena Howard
